Saturn turns retrograde on Monday April 29,making us reevaluate our finances,seeing if that career is really working out, and basically reevaluating your life.Throw in the Pluto retrograde which is deep internal emotions and our shadow self, change will come after both these planets turn direct in mid August making us know exactly what we want. Capricorns and Cancers will feel this energy the most and must use the lessons learned from this retrograde period to move forward in midsummer.
April30/May 1st in Beltane eve ( Walpurgis Night) and May Day for many pagans. Beltane is the anglicized name for the Gaelic May Day festival. Most commonly it is held on 1 May, or about halfway between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. Historically, it was widely observed throughout Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man.
Beltane is a major Pagan festival called a Sabbat. It is the union/marraige of the God and Goddess. The word Beltane means Bright Fire and it is named after the God Bel and ancient Celtic God. It is a fire festival and it is tradition to build a fire on Beltane night to honor the Sun Gods. Beltane is a fertility festival also and it is the height of Spring and the beginning of Summer.The Earths energy is fertile, very strong and potent. In that moment, the universe is bursting with new life everywhere, Beltane is the start of the gardening and farming calendar too.
On Saturday, May 4 we have a New Moon in the stable and grounded sign of Taurus. That will make these retrograde planets not as intense with beautiful and solid Taurus by our side. This is the perfect time to make financial decisions, invest, purchase art, have beauty treatments done,buy some new clothes,visit your hairdresser.....you wont be disappointed.
