New Moon in Capricorn
We have a New Moon in the ambitious sign of Capricorn on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 5:17 a.m. EST. This New Moon happens to fall on Venus Day (Friday), and will put many of us in the celebrating mood were we can enjoy fine dining, upscale events, and the finer things in life; even if it is in serious, stuffy, Capricorn. Back in January of 2022 I said “that we began this year with a New Moon in Capricorn, and we end the year with a New Moon in Capricorn.” This simply means that things come full circle as we began the year with strong ambitions, hopes, and dreams; and we end the year on the same note, literally. Give yourself thumbs up for all of the accomplishments you have achieved this year, and set those intentions for the coming year ahead.
Capricorn New Moons are all about new beginnings, endings, political changes, government decisions that affect the people, career, ambition, setting goals, public spotlight, discipline and structure. Lots of progress can be achieved in the next two weeks with Capricorns power to climb the mountain of success with patience, anything is possible. The motto here is to take it slow and steady as restructure will take place in both our personal and business lives. All earth signs will feel this energy the most (Capricorn, Virgo, and Taurus) and Cancer too but also souls born with a Sun, Moon, rising or Dragons head/tail in Capricorn will fill the energy strongly.
Last year we had a stellium of four planets in Capricorn. This year we have a stellium of five with the Sun (outer expression), The Moon (emotions), Venus (love and money), Mercury (how we communicate) and Pluto (drama and rebirth) bring a very stronger Capricorn energy to the forefront. We will be more in control this time around. However, the Sun in (Capricorn) squares Jupiter in (Aries) on Dec. 23 and that can bring pride, arrogance, ego, and impulsive behavior to some, and for others; the rose colored glasses are still on, and unable to see the real truth, yet. This also represents a time when we are all distracted by the holidays and merriments and the monetary system is working behind the scenes planning your financial future, and the global economy.
Magickal Folk: Capricorn New Moons are perfect for ambition, job or career rituals. Setting intentions for goals, recognition, your ambitions, and even workings for political purposes do will under this energy. Healing rituals for ailments of the bones, knees, teeth, and skin are blessed under Capricorn Moons. I’ve stated this before but it is well worth repeating; if the Moon is in Capricorn, waxing on the 1st day, then it is the perfect time for cursing, hexing, and baneful magick. The energy gets an added boost from Saturn, the great malefic. Anyone who says they do magick but don't follow the stars is missing out on powerful magickal energy. However, this doesn’t mean you have to do spell work every time, all the time in the right stars. Sometimes we have to do spell work in emergencies, and that is perfectly fine as we are energy manipulators.
Capricorn New Moons are generally positive in nature and bring about determination, structure, achieving goals, and career plans. Capricorn rules politics, and the government, and decisions are being made towards your financial future without most not even aware. As I am writing this I have no idea if this will even make headlines on December 23, 2022 but CBDC is in the beginning stages as they launch today.
Lots of changes are ahead monetarily speaking and CBDC is not going to be my future of how I use money as it is a government controlled and backed by the Federal Reserve. However, more to come in the weeks ahead on that topic as I launch my Crypto class in the next 48 hours.
As we close out this year, this New Moon will bring Great Britain into the headlines and U.S.A. too. And the holiday season could bring a major tsunami, earthquake or more volcanic eruptions as Mother Earth decides to stretch herself. Crazy and violent weather is possible too. This energy is the same energy that brought the 2004 Indonesian earthquake, and tsunami. Let’s hope I’m wrong!
