October 2021 Forecast
Happy October everyone! It seem like this year has just flew by and Halloween is approaching. For me, it does begin to kick off the holiday season is some way. We have six planets in retro grade which has made the past few months challenging for many of us. In October many of these planets will go direct, and we can all breath a sigh of relief with lessons learned.
On Wednesday, October 6,2021 we have a New Moon in Libra at 7:05 a.m. EDT. Libra New Moon's are ruled by Venus and usually take on a harmonious, peaceful, and romantic quality. Its about partnerships, marriage, commitments, diplomacy, justice, and the gentle approach to things in life. Its about love, romance, and rules psychology, and artistic abilities too. Anytime you have Venus ruling a sign, you will always deal with laws, money, affairs of the heart, and souls seem to take on a "make love not war" mantra. This energy also effects our own cosmic fluidity and balance and harmony are key factors to this moon phase. Many of us will be signing important contracts, get new business partners, dealing with laws (positive), getting married or engaged. Where ever Libra falls by house and sign we will feel the reap sweet rewards by house and sign.. Souls with strong Libra placements will feel this energy the most.
Pluto in Capricorn goes direct on the same day as the new moon. These past several months have been a trial to rid ourselves of bad habits, addictions and dependencies, and to re- organize our life and unclutter. Now that it has gone direct we transform and move forward. Saturn in Aquarius goes direct on Sunday, October 10,2021. We may have felt like there have been restrictions, karmic redemption, more discipline needed on our part, and now we are ready to make those commitments that restricted us before.
Jupiter goes direct on Monday, October 18,2021. This planet in Rx has restricted our money and the way we make money. Now direct, new ideas flow and the cash comes more easily now. Modern Astrology claims Mercury is direct on the same day but ancient astrology knows it has ten more days of energy behind it.
Full Moon in Aries on Wednesday, October, 20,2021 at 10:57 a.m. Full moon in Aries can be volatile, full of aggression, and lack any tact. Many wars have been started in this energy but luckily Mars (Lord of War is in diplomatic Libra) toning down aggressive energy. With Pluto in Capricorn expect more fighting, friction, and anger within our government and political spectrum, especially with a debt ceiling deadline looming just days before. On Saturday, October 23,2021 the Sun enters Scorpio. Happy Birthday Scorpio! Scorpio souls are magnetic, mysterious, powerful, and have tons of witchcraft residue. Just remember to use your power for good and fly like the eagle. Its the Scorpio full of resentment, jealousy, and revenge that usually stings himself, and others and resides as the lizard of the zodiac.
Mars enters into Scorpio on Saturday, October 30,2021. Mars in Scorpio is all about creative or destructive forces. In its positive it is the investigator or detective at the scene of a crime or in the negative its the killer taking his victim. Mars is desire and danger and Scorpio is about regenerating, investigating and ultimate power.
Happy Halloween/ Samhain (pronounced sow-een). Sunday, October 31 is when the veil is at its thinnest and is tradition in many cultures to honor our dead.. The kids are getting their costumes ready for the big night of Trick -or Treating. Even us adults cant wait for the festivities to begin. The pagans see this as the last harvest of the season and many celebrate on November 1- 2 with All Souls Day and Día De Los Muertos.
